CHOICE serves students in grades 7 - 12 (8 - 12 during the pandemic) who want to engage in an individualized learning environment. We offer flexible hours for students who need to work, have health issues, or enjoy online learning.  For the fall of 2021, while all students in the Shelton School District will be working from home on the K12 curriculum, CHOICE students will still each have an individualized learning plan, developed in collaboration with the teacher, student, and family, which will layout a course of classes designed to move them towards their graduation goals. CHOICE students will receive a great deal of support to achieve these goals, through small class sizes, individualized advising, and social/emotional support.  Beginning second trimester, most students will only take three classes for six weeks at a time, to enable each of them to focus on a few subjects at a time. We will be using a variety of platforms, including Zoom, K12, and Google Classroom, depending on the class.  Apply to CHOICE today

A Letter from the Principal

The school year is off to a great start and we are so excited to have all of our current students as part of the CHOICE community. We know that these are difficult times, but we are here to support you. Please contact me or your advisor if you have any concerns and we will find someone to support you."
